Building on students' interests and strengths, Student Success Specialist, Dr. Nancy Gill, offers playful and empathic strategies for children and teenagers who struggle and fail in school. She is the author of Helping Kids Hope (Scarecrow Education Press, 2003) and Shine In Your Own Way: Inspiration For Parents of Failing Kids (Down-To-Earth Books, 2008).

Dr. Gill welcomes invitations from parent groups, student groups, schools, libraries, churches, service organizations, and conferences, and will be happy to tailor her presentations to suit particular needs and interests.
